Great day on the bay with Mako II. Captain Dave and mate Evan had us on the fish all day long. Couldn’t have been more enjoyable. The boat was clean and roomy. Going back out next week.

Im new to salt water and the crew helped me learn some new techniques and helped me catch some nice fish. They were very nice and helpful and I would definitely go back!

Other charters go out looking for boats; Captain Dave goes out for fish. Been going with him for about 15-20 years and he always brings you to the fish. He's a great guy, and Evan the mate works hard to make sure you're set and ready to jig. We pulled so many stripers on this recent trip that we were exhausted by 8:30. Yeah the regulations are tight, but with some effort you can come home with fish. He was able to take us out last minute when we were in town for a family vacation. He didn't have to do that and that just goes to show you what a guy he is. Can't recommend the Mako 2 enough.

Captain Dave and Evan are an excellent team, Dave put us on fish right away and Evan was a true professional constantly working the gear to make sure we landed plenty of fish! Our crew of 9 was worn out by the end of the day- we even had a close encounter with a Mako taking one of our bass right at the boat, once in a lifetime event! Can’t recommend highly enough, 2 of the best in the business!
