  What a great find is the Norwalk Sailing School! I was hoping to find a tour of the Norwalk Islands and when I googled island tours, the Norwalk Sailing School popped up. I found a schedule of kayak tours on the school’s website and phoned the school to schedule a tour. I received a call back and went on the tour we selected. Jake was our tour guide. After getting fitted for a life vest (very comfortable) and getting some safety issues out of the way we were off. Jake is a Norwalk native with a vast knowledge of the Norwalk islands. He guided us (each in a kayak) around the islands, stopping now and then to make sure we were doing okay and ready to continue. Jake was a great guide. The weather was perfect and the views were fantastic. I would go on this tour more than once for sure!

  My partner and I took 7 days of windsurfing lessons and we can't praise Norwalk Community Sailing enough. The staff is organized and pleasant to deal with. Scheduling and communication were excellent and everything was on-time. Our instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, passionate, and a kind person and good teacher. We will definitely be back.

  An excellent sailing school. We rent kayaks here with friends and as a family and I have taken a sunset paddleboard as well. It’s a gem of a spot and you can get to three different islands. Staff here is wonderful! We love coming to NSS.
