Whale-Watching in Oregon

Oregon asks boaters to make a choice most states don't offer: ocean, river, or high-desert lake. The Columbia, tracing most of Oregon's northern border, is the state's main artery afloat. To the south, the Willamette moves at a gentler pace, winding through farmland and past Salem and Corvallis, served by smaller marinas and public docks.
