Who puts it up

Marinas and ramps, rental fleets, charter and tour operators, waterfront lodging, and the fishing and boating clubs your customers already read.

You do not need a listing with Boating Hubs to use it, and you do not need to claim one. If you have a listing, claiming it is free and lets you fix what visitors see when they click through.

Where to paste it

Squarespace

Edit the page, add a block, choose Code, and paste the snippet in. Leave the block set to HTML.

Wix

Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML, then paste the snippet into the Code box.

WordPress

Add a Custom HTML block and paste it in. In the classic editor, switch to the Text tab first.

Anywhere else, the rule is the same: it goes wherever your editor accepts raw HTML. Paste the whole snippet, including the plain link, which is the part that keeps working if the script is ever blocked.

Before you paste

Public access inventories and the community, added and corrected in the app. Every launch on the map has its own page on our site with the rest of what we hold on it.

Only when somebody has recorded it. A launch we have no fee information for shows no fee row at all, rather than guessing free. That is the one fact a boater would turn around over, so we would rather say nothing than say it wrong.

No, and it must not be used as one. It shows where launches are, not depths, channels or hazards. For navigation you want the official chart.

It is free, with no account, no API key and no limit on how many people load it. The catch, stated plainly: the snippet includes a visible link back to us, and that link is what the widget costs you. If you would rather not link out, do not use it.

No. It draws on free OpenStreetMap tiles, so there is nothing to sign up for and no metered map loads to pay for.
